I like the look, really like the liner insert, but it's too damn big for a slipjoint, and I really think every slipjoint made from now on uses the spyderco kiwi trick of giving it a lockup based on your grip

This is the best slipjoint knife ever made, IMO. I wish they'd bring it back, I would buy another as a spare in case i ever lost mine in a heartbeat. This is always in my uniform breast pocket.

reswrightThat's really cool, but it is a locker, and the design of the kiwi is kind of flawless. You can pull straight on the little "eye" and the blade deploys, your finger locks the blade out, and it's sized small enough that it's just super convenient. It's not a "do it all" knife, but a backup blade for precise cutting, or a little knife for whittling or cutting up fruit or opening boxes. I keep a manix 2 on M4 on hand for my normal stuff, and the kiwi is my knife for when I need to cut up food or open packaging.

Honeybadgers ‘Normal stuff’. You hammer knives into trees to climb on them. Just picked up my first M4 knife - a Manix 2 XL.
