Really great knife
Great design, very slicy, and I really love its action (after some break-in and lubrication), the multi-row bearings really give it a very special kind of very mechanical feeling, which changes a lot from other knives and is very appreciable. A great value for the price.

Good value!
I got a Rocot in a trade some time ago,a cheap knife but good action fit and finish even with cheaper materials. Since that was so good i pulled the trigger on this one. It did not dissapoint,i have more expensive knives im my collection that dont have the action of this one (And better too) after cleaning out some grit in the bearings and work it for a while it is just fine. Time will tell how the heatreat are and as someone else said the gap in the clip could be a bit wider but those are small things.

Stiff at first, now better!
I had left a review on another Real Steel knife before, the 3001, I have a Sidus too, and I was a bit disappointed by these. This is on another level for Real Steel, and closer to the higher end offering on Drop. I have a fair amount of the very nice offering of knives from Drop: the Laconico, a Crux, a Shogun from Bestech, amongst other more affordable options, and this is on par with the nice stuff: very nice fit and finish, blade is dead on center, action is smooth and I didn't feel like I needed to lube the bearings; it's comfortable, the Carbon contour is very nicely finished, and I find it really rather good looking. I would say that the blade release was a still is a bit stiff at first, but it feels a bit looser now, and closer to the buttery action of the Shogun. I'm hoping it will keep improving as it is still on the harder end. The deep-carry clip is nice, but has a fairly small gap (1.5mm) which makes it harder to get out with thicker fabrics. Still, I'm genuinely happy with this. It's part of my top 5 after a week, and in a collection of 30+ knives.

Great knife, except for the flipping/locking mechanism
UPDATE: I spent an hour or two with this thing and with a lot of patience and Loctite was able to fully disassemble and give it a proper CLA. It was pretty filthy and had a lot of "carbon scoring" in it. Now it works really nice...at least for the moment. I took off the removable lock bearing and scrubbed it clean as well as lubed it. Now the action is really smooth! Far better than my beloved ZT 0566, which I have spent a lot of time on (it's my project blade) getting it perfect (for me). The bearing is by far perfect, it still slams shut pretty hard, which scares me. But I'm gonna give it a couple of days of fidgeting on my desk and see how it holds up before I make any final decisions about it. Also of note, Drop customer service is great as usual and offered a replacement or full refund. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a wonderful little knife, my praise would echo everyone else's. My only MAJOR gripe is the lock bearing that holds the blade in place. It makes it very really difficult to open and close. You have to put way too much pressure on the finger-release to open, so much so that you'll end up with a sore finger and a chewed up nail. The lock bearing also causes closing to be a bit dangerous. When you push on the liner lock the lock bearing immediately wants to grab onto the blade which makes the blade bump/slip right at the beginning that makes the blade fold down unexpectedly, which is really dangerous for your thumb. I already cut my thumb pretty badly folding it. The blade is SUPER sharp out of the box and the blade just gently touched my thumb and got pretty deep in there. I took the blade and bearings out to clean and relube them, but that had no effect on its performance (I got cut after I did this). Furthermore, this knife is so badly designed in terms of construction that the two screws that hold the scale which covers the liner lock won't come off so I can't just remove the suspected bearing. I won't carry a knife that's annoying to use and not safe to operate. No matter how nice it looks. So if I cant figure out this bearing issue, it's going back. And in my own defense, I have owned and handled blades all of my life. I even bought, sold, repaired, and modified knives for a living for many years with my own (brick and mortar) knife shop. I'm not saying I'm some sort of macho knife god. But I know my way around a knife. This is the FIRST time I've ever cut myself with a knife due to the knife's design.

The “Lynx” is an unexpected surprise!
I really like this knife. Everything about it says high quality. The feel on CF scales, blade centering, blade geometry and symmetry, operation, detail on the clip and glass “poker”, feel in hand... it’s all there. As I do with all my new knives unless it needs more attention to the bevel and sharpness, I strop the blade. I ran this blade across some ‘finely’ treated leather, and... Oh!... so nice :) This is a new member in my EDC rotation. I would definitely recommend this knife for the collector as well as the user.

Assume Knife
This is a full size knife that fits great in the hand. The carbon scales make the knife very light, fits great in my pocket. Also a really nice flipper. I would buy it again and again.

Quality fit & finish, gorgeous knife
Just got it today but I’m impressed with the fit & finish, perfectly centered, and smooth as silk action. Feels great in hand and is deceptively light. I can open it easily via flipper, thumb, and spidey style. The detent is solid and right in the middle of the strong-light scale. Pocket clip is springy and clips smoothly and easily in pocket which I appreciate. So far I’m happy as a clam and getting this knife for $100 less than the nearest retailer’s price makes this knife an incredible value and a happy new member of the collection.
