Best Pocket Knife Roll Available
Short version: Real Steel Pilgrims are undeniably superior to Spyderpacs. Long version: The materials are a bit nicer and finely put together and I say that as a Spyderco guy who owns six Spyderpacs and likes them a lot. The Pilgrim offers the same kind of knife storage with upgrades; it is fleece lined, has concealed aluminum panels for stability, has nicer hardware and a cool toggle lock. It can be opened one handed and isn’t quite as cumbersome as the large Spyderpacs. are they product perfection? Well, the optional snaps on the flap can be a bit fiddly to deal with so I usually don’t bother with them. The size of the pockets varies a bit, intentionally, unlike Spyderpacs which are entirely uniform. I actually like that because knives are different sizes but YMMV. And you are storing a few less knives than you would in the large Spyderpac. But if you want something a little nicer, but still practical and low key, the Pilgrim is your man. photos of mine:
