These look nice, but I'd prefer just a bit more info on sizing before dropping a C-note + ... Like, are they all same length/inseam, just different waists? Why is the waist different from number above it? (Sorry I'm new to selvedge.... )

jarrodtrainqueThe numbers on the sizing chart are the physical measurements of the garments for the tagged waist size (30, 32, etc). For instance, a size 30 has an actual waist measurement of 32.5" (this is normal, as most pants are vanity sized and sit lower than your natural waist). In the same way, his size 30 jeans measure 7" across the bottom hem (leg opening). Compare these measurements to a pair of jeans you like to see how they would fit. Here's an example of how these measurements are taken:

The inseam is 34".
Let me know if you have any other sizing questions!

IanAndersonVanity sizing isn't normal for raw denim though so it's weird that the tagged sizes are that far from the waist measurement. If there's a difference on raw denim sizes it's usually around an inch for expected shrink after the first soak/wash. If you soak these in hot water and tumble dry them they'll probably shrink 2.5 inches but then you're not doing it right. I have a pair of RCD black selvedge raw jeans and they shrank not even .5 inch in the waist , so if you're looking at these get them as close to your actual waist as you can.
