Way too big for an OP-style watch. And the case shape looks derivative of Certina's Podium lineup. Drop the size, get rid of that fugly day/date complication, and you'd have a pretty sweet OP copycat.

@RayF Where are the comments on these affordable automatics - inquiring minds want to know if these are value or trash...plz help!
Seriously though - style is nice, sapphire (coating?) seems like a step up, some reading on the movement says that it's a workhorse. At this price, it seems like a steal - anyone have any thoughts? Looking to possibly replace a Bertucci as a daily beater in a chemical plant/factory atmosphere.

- Yeah, that's kind of what I was interested in knowing - there are a few random reviews out there but seems strange to only have 2 pages on google when you check them out
- Agreed - I could see past it as a daily beater though (I like the hand style, overall look, etc.)
- I've got an Orient Bambino that I wear when I'm not bumping into machines and stuff but if the damage on the Bertucci is any indication, the bubble face on that wouldn't last long
- I'll check them out

Warlock983Here's another option. I was looking for a watch for myself when I found this piece. It is a carbon compound case (not steel), so much lighter but also what's more important for you resistant to chemicals. I know it is quartz (no issue for me for a daily beater) but has the tritium hands and markers. It's $224 on amazon...this is my favourite but there is a plenty of other color schemes. I'm always skeptical when I see a 80% - 90% price reduction from MSRP. Is this thing on par with the Invicta's of the world?

mhipReign's website shows the same models, but labeled correctly. Here the 02 is the one in the main image, though its image IS mixed up by showing the 04 in both the 02 and 04's place's.

t only thing I know about helios is i won a auction on eBay for a 1970’s helios hand wind watch $15 free shipping i wound it up put it on my dresser the next day it was spot on accuracy i did the same thing 4 more days with the same results dead on i haven’t opened it yet to see what’s inside this thing but when I do I’ll post pics
