Is there a version like this that holds dice and stuff as well? Would like to know before I commit.

Alex1514I don't think there is. I love the REP steel deck boxes, and keep ordering more (both this Massdrop exclusive one, and the normal colored ones), and while the deck boxes are very roomy length-wise, they're not wide or tall enough to accommodate bulky stuff like dice. I guess if you get the metal divider and only sleeve up a 60-card deck, you might be able to keep some dice in the back, but that eats away space for your sideboard/tokens.
If you want a sturdy deck box designed for both cards and dice, I'd take a look at the Ultimate Guard Monolith deck case or the Ultra Pro Satin tower.

ZorkMasterThe reason I'm asking is because I wanted to know if there is a full steel deckbox that holds dice. I actually have both the Satin tower and the Ultimate Guard Flip'n' Tray. While they both have dice holders, I've had to replace both because the Satin tower keeps cracking open in my backpack spilling dice everywhere if you apply slight force and the Flip'n'Tray actually was crushed in a plane flight on my way to an event.
I still joined the drop anyway since I really like the feel of pebbled metal.

Alex1514Looks like REP Gaming is testing out a prototype steel deck box that includes a dice tray. Check out their Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/REPGamingProducts/. It's probably not going to be released anytime soon, but it looks like the metal tray will be compatible with the existing steel deck boxes (at the cost of some space).
I've never had the Satin tower, but I own 5 Ultimate Guard Monolith deck cases, and the only problem I've had with them is exactly the opposite of what you've experienced: it's difficult to separate the bottom dice tray from the rest of the case. Granted, I've never carried them loosely in my backpack before, but I've never had any accidental openings by carrying multiples of them around.
As a sidenote, if you do get the Monolith deck case, I've found it's easiest to remove the dice tray the same way you remove the top cover (hold the bottom, tilt the top away from you, then pull straight up), just rotated 180° so that the "back" is facing you.
Alex1514Hi Alex1514, This is Dan from REP Gaming. We are actually in the process of developing a deck box that will hold dice / counters, etc. Unfortunately I don't have an idea when it will be ready. (We want to make sure it is actually good!) I am hoping to have it ready sometime late in the summer, but please don't hold me to that! Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know that one is in the works! :)
ZorkMasterYup, you are correct! We are making a tray insert that will work in our commander boxes. However that will only work for 60 card decks w/ 15 card sideboards (double sleeved). But rest assured, the deck box I mentioned to Alex1514 is going to be a taller box, that will hold dice / tokens and a double sleeved commander deck. Thanks for sharing my facebook page!

Dan@REPGamingCool! One last thing, is the extra divider that you pay 2 dollars extra when buying this box plastic or alluminum?
Alex1514Aluminum of course! We don't do plastic! ;)

Dan@REPGamingPlease ask MD to vendor tag you. Makes it easier to see your posts.
BrainFlushDidn't know they could do that. Will Do!
