Edit:: Super Famicon and PAL aren't synonymous... I got excited.
That looks like a Super Famicon cart, not a Super Nintendo one. Will it play Super Famicon games?
But, if it really did play PAL carts, and if it also had a NTSC decoder... that would be amazing.
Check out video reviews of this and the Supaboy. Screen looks better on the RDP and you can adjust brightness. The Supaboy looks really thick and apparently feels horrible ergonomically. Also based on some reddit threads seems like the Supaboy is known for breaking pretty easily. When battery is running out the Supaboy freezes/screen glitches apparently. Battery life is also 3 hours longer on the RDP. Seems like a no-brainer for me to choose this over that one. Only downside to this unit is that the earphone jack is on the top which seems like a pretty weird design choice and that the NES adapter is huge, although it comes for free so can't really complain, whereas the other unit doesn't come with one at all.
CidRex999Cartridge only. This works by hardware emulation, not software. Also means no software emulation features like upscaling or save states. But software emulation would defeat the point of buying this product. You can just get an emulator for your phone which is a much more portable package and likely bigger screen. There are plenty of controller add ons for smart phones these days.
