Anyone know if these are any good for games that rely on sound and sound tracking??

NR4DI hope that my comment might help you. i just tell you some stuff that I've learned the last few years. Almost any decent Headphone / IEM will work well for games that rely on sounds. Sure, there are differences in perceived soundstages, some produce sound, that seems closer to your head and on others it seems to come from further away. If you play a game, it will either utilize surround sound for a surround speaker setup or stereo sound for headphones. Sound tracking in stereo is entirely done digitally, while surround sound is a mixture of digitally sending the signals to speakers, set up around you physically. Any stereo Headphone / IEM will produce accurate sound tracking, as long as the frequency range is wide enough and the sound is mostly balanced. So let's look at the RevoNext QT5 and it's slightly V-Shaped Sound. You might have seen those frequency response graphs before. There's always the lower frequencies (Bass) on the left and then going right, to mids, and then to high frequencies. So a slight V Shape means that there is a slight emphasis on bass and higher frequencies (example: Opera singers voice or whistling). There's also U Shaped sound which means that Bass can be overwhelming and highs can be painfully piercing. Mostly the cheapest IEMs sound like this. For gaming a wide soundstage is preferred by most. open ear headphones can achieve this pretty well, for example the AKG K7XX is very good at that. IEMs mostly make for a more intimate experience, while isolating you more from the outside world, which in turn can make it more immersive. I'd say that the QT5 can be used for gaming as it seems pretty accurate. Only you can decide if you like the sound, while listening to them. :)
