Beautiful Watch Poorly Assembled
I purchased this during the Feb 2020 run. After wearing it a dozen times the seconds chrono hand has started to drift with each reset. That's bad...what's worse is that Drop's so called customer service has failed to respond to any of the 3 requests for service I've initiated. If you are buying a higher end watch from Drop DO NOT EXPECT HELP should it have problems. You are on your own.

A striking watch at a great price
I had been looking for a particular combination of watch elements (hands, dial, etc.) when the the Revue Thommen Airspeed Chronograph became available on Drop. I’m a sucker for the aircraft instrument hands (carried through to the second hand) and the military numeral dial, all of which are lumed. I own a Breitling Colt Chronograph and this Revue Thommen is incredibly similar but for the dial. The dimensions and cases of the watches are nearly identical. The RT features a display case back where the Breitling does not. Both watches feature a version of the Valjoux/ETA 7750, however I believe that Breitling now makes these movements in house and the Breitling is a certified chronometer where the RT is not. The Breitling is also depth rated to 200 meters where the RT is rated to 100 meters. Both watches feature a screw down crown. The RT is a day/date version of the 7750 where the Breitling just has the date. The bezel on the Breitling is brushed and not painted where the RT is polished with painted numerals. That’s about it. To me, this Revue Thommen is a style that Breitling should have made. At a fraction of the cost of the Breitling, the Revue Thommen is an outstanding deal. One thing that lets the Revue Thommen Airspeed Chronograph down is the rubber strap. It is the type of rubber deployment style strap that you have to cut down to size correctly, and frankly it looks like a pain to do so. Once you cut the strap, you can’t go back to larger sizes. I tried the RT on a NATO strap and it didn’t quite work for me. The RT and Breitling are thick watches (around 16mm). The NATO strap adds about 2 mm under the case making the watch sit very high and uncomfortably on the wrist. My Breitling came with a simple thick oiled leather strap. I purchased a similar one on Amazon for the RT and it looks and works much better in my opinion than the original rubber strap. I gave the Revue Thommen Airspeed Chronograph 5 stars because I love the look. Revue Thommen nailed the aircraft aesthetic. And a watch that features an authentic Valjoux/ETA 7750 at this price is a steal!
