Revue Thommen’s beginnings date all the way back to 1853 in the small Swiss town of Waldenburg. After nearly a century of crafting its own watch movements, the company began producing aviation instruments for the Swiss Air Force in 1936 Read More
If you're looking for that GMT-Master 2 look this is as close to a clone as you're going to get. And you get a swiss movement to boot (granted, it's a mid-range ETA but it keeps good time and is easy to set). I don't love the clasp on the bracelet, but it's not enough to not recommend it. Great daily driver for anyone doing business in two timezones like I am.
So far I am loving this watch. I travel a lot and the GMT feature works flawlessly.
It feels very substantial and well built on the wrist. I have not gone scuba diving with it yet, but will not hesitate to do so. It is keeping perfect time so far.
Excellent quality for the money. It will be even better if the clap is a little looser. Almost the same quality of the cricket alarm watch I've owned with this same name band but cost over US$ 2K. Very happy for this purchase.
This is a very good watch for its price. Of course it is not a rolex but is great watch. I have it for a few months and there was no problem with this by now. I am highly recommending this watch to everyone.
Love the looks. The watch simply quit working after about 3-4 weeks. Stopped by a high end watchmaker nearby and he said it was not winding and if he had to go in it would be $200-300 depending upon the trouble and if any parts were needed and available. Too much for a $600 watch, so contacted drop. 3 options, first two were to keep as is and get a $20 credit( do they think I am a fool??) or send backfor full credit. Printed out label last night, and put box in UPS drivers hands this morning. This was the second watch from Drop in the last couple of years that has quit working.
I have a wide range of watches from Rolex to IWC to Breitling to Baume & Merc but this watch is my daily wear. It’s rugged, accurate, very very proportionate, 13mm thick (remarkably thin for its type) and very very practical. I use the bezel all the time too. The magnifier on the calendar is a nice touch too. There already is a picture of this in a wrist, so I am adding a pic to compare face size.
I will be buying another one of these when/if it comes back on again.
Exactly what I was hoping for. Really love the fact that this GMT Diver has all of the finest attributes of the Rolex GMT Master II but also has a display case back, Pepsi Bezel, better lume and 300 m water resistance. Keeps great time (so far a gain of about 1 sec +/- daily). The Pepsi bezel gets notices and the cyclops date display (like my GMT Master II) is real easy on the eyes. I will caution anyone sizing the bracelet on their own, it does use pin and collar to keep the links together and is bidirectional removing and inserting. A plain extractor will get you started but you will also need a pin, hammer and band bracelet holder block to take it the rest of the way... or.. take it to a qualified jeweler ;-)... Really love it!
It is a solid link bracelet that uses a pin and collar strategy to hold the links together. It's much more secure than mere friction pins... it's also a little trickier to size. If you are not careful (or unaware) when you remove the pin, the collar (which is much smaller) can drop out of the link. Without the collar, the pin "will NOT" stay in the link and the bracelet will fail. When you remove the pin (which is extracted similarly to the friction pin) make sure you use a cloth on your work surface to catch the collar. Also take note to the side of the link that the collar is seated so you can replace it properly.
