I really like this watch for the money; I really am one of the watch enthusiasts that puts value for money just ahead of quality and style. Anyway, I will buy the black bezel and bracelet in time , and probably from Drop; but just as I was going to do it ; my local site "Starbuy" offered the Seiko Alpinist at just under $500 usd. new!!! I was waiting patiently for the price to drop and begin with a 6 in aud. that is: so at $699 I just couldn't resist. It turns out it is the Ivory and silver indices dial on black strap that I was hoping for. Can't wait, it will be here tomorrow. But I really wish I had access to the funds for this RT watch: but definitely next time.

This watch is approximately 1/16th the price of a Rolex gmt. $9700 isn’t a lot of money when it comes down to it. For example, if you avoided wasting your money on poor quality watches at $400-$600, once a month, then in less than a year and a half you can have a quality timepiece that will last your lifetime, be serviceable, and at the very least retain 80%+ of your initial purchase price. For everyone who cries out against the ‘snobs’ like me, recognize that I was once one of you. I fooled myself into thinking watches like this were ‘just as good’ as the real thing. I come here not to harm, but to help you all become better versions of yourself with better watches. I am, in short, the Drop Watch Jesus. Stop buying low low quality cheap watches. You’ll thank me eventually. You’re welcome.

I’m in the US so I went to Tourneau. I had gone into the shop about 2 weeks ago, gave the lady a list (chocolate gmt, New Kermit, any GMT) and she texted me yesterday she had it. Picked it up today. Very easy, very pleasant and the 12 month financing just made it a no brainer. Now I’m just waiting on the Kermit.

This is a very good watch at a competitive price. Here's a message for all of the, "it's not a good watch because it's a Homage people"! Isn't imitation the highest form of flattery? If one was is so well-healed - "financially that is", and they could afford to buy Rolex etc. then why would you need to be a Drop customer? Apart from the constant amusement gained from reading comments between members just trying annoy each other LOL. The main protagonists this time around don't even appear to have put much business Drop's way! if any for some. Maybe that's because they are wealthy, and only buy the originals !! Maybe they should be gaining their amusement down at the "Yacht or Country Club"!!! I for one don't see this watch as a total copy, as Ray has said there is a big brand name written on the dial. I do see this watch as an extremely good value for money proposition, not just for us "financial mortals" but even a grounded rich guy; who can see the value. The design cues undoubtedly are Rolex, but I don't see a problem, just an advantage; the look is popular and they are in the business of selling watches for profit. Most high ends brands of anything, whether watches ,jewellery, clothes etc. have to exist to give the rich something to do with their money: it's as simple as that. Who else would pay $1000 plus for a cotton "T" shirt from Burberry, of $200 for socks from "Off White", or $10,000 for a 20-point diamond from "Tiffany's". I haven't really noticed this invasion of "Snobs" infiltrating this Drop community until now; maybe Drop is moving to target a different demographic!! Getting back to this very attractive watch, I haven't physically been able to inspect it; but if the pic's and reviews are anything to go by then I would just love to have one, probably the black bezel model. Maybe should've held off on that last Glycine!! Finger's crossed this one is for sale again after Christmas.

Oh Boy...here we go again! This is when people like me think that it's pathetic that this company basically makes a replica Rolex and puts their name on it. Half the defenders call it an 'homage' (what a joke!!), while others say that all watches are copies of other watches anyways (please spare me that argument; I don't remember ever looking at this watch and confusing it with a Panerai, IWC Big Pilot or Seiko SKX). It's so sad that a company like Revue Thommen, which actually has such a storied past, resorts to stealing someone else's look without even attempting to make a single change. I find it equally sad that someone will spend $600 really wishing it were a Rolex GMT, rather than spending their money on something original like a nice Seiko or Oris...or anything that doesn't make them appear so desperate. And finally, this is also where RayF, (the final word on this forum with 22,400 comments or likes or whatever - just ask him, he'll tell you), will jump in with some witty comment, show me his Invicta (the fake Rolex copy one) and remind me that I'm just an amatuer and have no idea what I'm talking about. So in summary, do as you wish, enjoy your purchase, but deep down we all know this is not a Rolex, but we all wish that it were.

To RayF and all you other watch experts, enthusiasts and connoisseurs: Silly me and my newbie ways. Upon further review I stand corrected. This looks nothing like a Rolex GMT but I discovered a startup based out of Kazakhstan called Suunto that has an identical look. Check em out. PS. RayF: I have no idea what the fk you just said but the important thing is that your fans do and it will garner more of those coveted Drop "likes" on your way to 30k. So cool! Go RayF go!

Me: But...they even have the identical color schemes as the Pepsi, Hulk and Batman. You: Nope...I don't see that. I give up. Enjoy the purchase. That's all that matters.

My review about RT. I own a Diver XL (I own others watches with ETA or Sellita) and my RT (ETA 2824 or SW200 ?) is really my best watch, very well set new at RT, accuracy ... +1,625s per day !!!! Better than Rolex ! So, i 'll buy a RT GMT asap !!!

This is the last opportunity you'll have to buy a Pepsi bezel, GMT watch anywhere on the internet, ever again. Not because anyone stopped making them, but because everyone whoever wanted one has already bought one, and the rest of us are sick of seeing the damn watch over and over again!

Revue, Aragon, or Aragon, Revue.........decisions, decisions!!! I guess if your pocket money is tight this week, then Aragon, if not Revue. Seriously I don't mind the Revue watch , I know many don't because of the homage issues; but really most watches are homage of some sort. Look. Aragon kinda has a resemblance to this Revue watch . Who would have thought!! Probably more attractive around the $400 - $450 mark though; if not $399. Especially as the choice is....oh! one model and it isn't even looking like the duo coloured bazel of the Aragon; so it should come in at $399!!!!

Lol love how it says 1000 feet on the dial instead of meters which is what all watch companies are supposed to put. That's a huge misconception as people will think that's 1000 meters when they buy. That's actually equivalent to 100 meters, half of what a dive watch is supposed to be.

Yeah your right I realized that literally right after posting lmao, it's still weird to see a European company put American measurements on a watch dial instead of European metric measurements. Threw me way off
