This drop looks like it's going over like a lead balloon. For 479.99, just can't get into it myself. I'd go for another Glycine Combat Sub in Stainless with the white dial!

Everytime I see a "homage" watch like this, I feel like the brand is using a loudspeaker to shout at me, "I HAVE NO SELF RESPECT!"

So I'm confused. Specs clearly state bronze case but comments state bronze plated steel. Which is correct?

Is this a better deal or the Glycine if I'm looking for a bronze watch? I already ordered the Glycine, but I'm curious about the two. How do the materials and movements compare?

Bronze coat won't patina! It will corrode or rust.

That's EXACTLY the word I was thinking of! I mean "homage" is one way people justify buying a copycat, but man, this thing is derivative af. I'm surprised it's not a Steinhart LOL No thanks to faux patina. I don't buy my jeans looking worn out already, so same thing with my watches. If there's patina on my watches, it's because I caused it through normal wear and tear!

This shit is “bronze-toned” stainless steel. What the fu<k is that? It’s like saying this watch had a spray-on tan. Think I’ll stay away from this one.

considering you can get a borealis portus cale watchmark limited version with genuine bronze for $100 less. I just don't get the plated finish decision.

And having owned two Borealis, I can say they make solid watches for a boutique maker. It’s good to be informed.
