The one with larger numbers is just one beatufil watch. Funny how some things just resonate immediately. Beige looks classy but probably has issues with low-light readability. Blue is nice, too. Even though this is a nice offer it would be still more expensive over here in Finland, with VAT and customs, than German eBay and some other European stores...

Not my cup of gears and springs, but it's not a terrible looking watch! I never was a big fan of full-on Flieger watches (particularly with riveted leather straps), so this more understated interpretation is kind of a refreshing change. The good parts are still there: big, easy to read dial with no-nonsense hands, a date window, and a large workable crown (an Onion crown would have killed it) and of course it's Swiss made (if only with a SW movement, but as I often say, I'm no movement expert ;- ) I kind of like the brown/beige combo but I think the blue might be the standout in the mix. All that said, the big news is that MD's price is at least one-hundred dollars BETTER than the new-in-box prices I found on eBay. I did try to find better shots of this model around the internet and only had limited success. It may be worth checking out eBay listings for a few more views: https://www.ebay.com/c/534546538
