I have 2 different versions of this light. If the old one had a memory function that was easy to use, it would get 5 stars.
The addition of a memory function on the new style is the only improvement. I'm not a fan of the new output bezel and the loose switch is annoying. I still haven't been able to get the memory function to work.
3 star average for me. Two for the new and four for the old.
