RH Preyda Combination Bench Stones

RH Preyda’s Combination Bench Stones combine two different sharpening stones into one easy-to-use package. This combo features a soft sharpening stone on one side and a hard black sharpening stone on the other, both of which are made from 100-percent natural Arkansas stone. Use the soft stone to shape the initial edge of your blade, and use the hard black stone to polish and hone it. To use a stone, simply add four to five drops of oil (recommended), align your blade at a 15- to 20-degree angle, stroke the blade three to 10 times, reverse the blade, and repeat the process.

Quarried by hand in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas, each of its stones is made from 100-percent novaculite—a material known for its density and unique siliceous structure.
