Even better than the official Leuchtturm Bullet Journal - the paper is better and more fountain pen friendly, the soft cover is excellent, and I really like the calendar and Index templates at the beginning.
I owned 2 Rhodia Goalbooks before ordering a 3-pack from massdrop. Quality was always great. The ones from Drop are still great... however the dots in 2 of my 3 notebooks were unusually faintly printed. Another user mentioned the paper possibly being 80 gsm instead of 90 gsm... I haven't had any issues using fountain pens on any of the books I received from drop, but I do wish that the dot print quality was more consistent.
Lots of pages, all the standard things I'd expect: index, calendars, bookmarks, rear pocket. Paper is great, but I use an extra-fine nib so that's pretty forgiving. I'd recommend it and probably buy it again once I work through the 6 I got.
This is a great notebook. I love the dot grid pattern, the pockets, the cover, and the binding. However, the paper itself is substandard and doesn't even match up to the typical Rhodia standard. On the product page it announces that the pages are of 90 GSM thickness, but based on my experiences the paperis not even of the usual Rhodia thickness, 80 GSM. This paper is the product of a bait and switch program. Unless you're using pencil or a very fine nib, I'd recommend considering something else where they honestly announce the qualities of their paper (although, in defense of Rhodia, the inaccuracies might be due to massdrop)
Great notebooks. I love the soft covers and their vibrant colors. I also love how they work with fountain pens; I use one as my bullet journal and they’ve stood up to various media used on them with no issues thus far. The fact that the pages are numbered as well as features a table of contents and monthly overviews in two ways make it easier as a first bullet journal.
I definitely recommend these! As a note, the pages are definitely off white/cream in color (maybe more so than usual) but I like it.
These are my everyday go to notebooks. I can do anything with them and the quality is terrific. Fountain pen friendly and provides a satisfying writing experience,
These goalbooks are excellent. A few key features: of course, the famous Rhodia paper in sepia. Lovely. Pages are numbered and pages are provided in the front to note important pages for later with a title and page number, which is VERY cool in a goalbook! There are two ribbons for bookmarking, which is great. I can keep my current location marked as well as some other important page. There's a folder on the back flap (inside the flap) for putting reciepts and the like so they won't fly around, also trememdous in a book like this. The cover has an excellent feel to it, and the logos are stamped into it which is a nice aesthetic. There are pages provided for date keeping, both in day increments and months, but I don't really use those.
Overall, 5/5. This is hands down the best goalbook I've ever seen.
