Don't take this the wrong way: But why do I need to sell my kidney to get this shipped to my house? I understand this is a business, and you have to work with the shipping companies, but I don't see where the high shipping price is coming from? I must be missing something. Is it that expensive to get shipped to the US too? Or only outside the US? If there is an explanation to this that would be awesome!

OrthogonalShipping internationally is always quite expensive for US sellers, unless they have a sweetheart deal with a shipper. The only sellers who get the sweetheart deals are the megacorporations. Everyone else can pay $$$ or die in a fire, as far as US shippers are concerned.
