We've just received additional insight from the vendor regarding the group's order and here's where we're at:
Shortly after the drop ended we placed the group's order and the vendor confirmed the available quantities. We were later informed that all units had been prepared for shipment and were en route to our warehouse. Soon after, we learned that this notification and tracking was actually for a similar order and the Ricoh GR II's were not included as a part of it .
The vendor acknowledged the mistake and only now informed us that they are unable to provide an accurate timetable for when these cameras will be able to ship. With this uncertainty in mind, we have decided the best course of action for the community is to cancel the drop and issue full refunds to each member. This decision is never an easy one and we have put future drops with this vendor on hold until they demonstrate process changes to eliminate this issue from happening again.
Refunds will be applied to your payment method within 1-3 business days. If you'd like further information about how we handle situations like this, you can visit the following link: https://helpdesk.massdrop.com/hc/en-us/articles/217618637-Why-did-Massdrop-cancel-the-drop-
Thanks once again for your patience and support of the Photography community. Your involvement is so valuable as we continue to grow and improve the experience for all members.
We've just checked in with the vendor again regarding the group's order and unfortunately they provided us with some less than ideal news. Despite initially informing us that the shipment was en route to our warehouse in New Jersey, it appears that the tracking information they provided was actually for a different order and the units for this drop are still awaiting pickup. We've relayed this frustration back to the vendor and they've ensured us that processes are in place to prevent this from occurring in the future. We will remain in close contact until everything is indeed on its way to our warehouse and update the group with any news we receive.
Again, we certainly understand that the additional wait time is undesirable. If you would prefer to cancel your order, please contact Community Support using the “Contact Support” button in your transactions page (massdrop.com/transactions).
You can expect an update from us on 4/21 or sooner if something comes up.

TylerTyler, thank you for the updates. This is very unfortunate news.
This is very discouraging when a drop appears as simple as ordering 4 cameras, and no other options to complicate the order is going to be delayed 3+ weeks. As a huge proponent of both Massdrop and this this camera this was very disappointing news. These have been in stock from Ricoh US the entire duration of the drop, so I'm assuming that they are not the supplier to Massdrop for this.
What is Massdrop doing to retain me as a customer? A little transparency into the matter would be helpful, because it is very hard to accept the fact that a communications breakdown is the reason for such a long delay coming from a company whose business model is hinged on B2B communication and negotiations. I've obviously canceled my order, and will have to seriously consider whether or not to give business here again.
The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive by the middle of next week.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, but we will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thank you for your patience. Expect an update from us on 4/14 or sooner if something comes up.

We've just heard back from the vendor about the latest status of the group's order and it appears that it's taken them longer to receive and ship the necessary units than originally planned. They assure us that these units are arriving soon and should be en route to our warehouse in New Jersey shortly. As always, we will monitor the situation closely and update the group right away once this shipment is on its way to us.

We are still in contact with the vendor and just awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 4/4 or sooner if something comes up.
We've been in touch with the vendor and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is en route to us!
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 3/30 or sooner if something comes up.
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Ricoh GR II Digital Camera and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 3/31.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 3/25.
