I owned a Ricoh GR1v (film) and a GR Digital II (similar name but older camera than this). I loved them both. Both rugged and high quality and focused more on performance and ergonomics than the megapixel race and adding more instagram filters. IMHO these are great for street and probably landscape. I also had some of the add-on lenses and filter adapters for them, and I would pass on them and just get an interchangable lens mirrorless if you feel you can't commit to the 28mm focal length 100% of the time. The adapters are clunky, easily scratched or broken, with optics that aren't up to par with the stellar lenses Ricoh usually puts into these. I now shoot with an Olympus m4/3 body but would switch back to these in a heartbeat if I could use only 28mm.
