@riderboot, I wear7.5E size in Allen Edmond's 7 and 1 lasts. What size should I get for the boots? I will be wearing thick socks, so should I size up? Thanks!

ZZ_UPennactually, what is so great about this leather is that, it requires little to no upkeep. Naturally water resistant due to the tanning process and the nap is very hard - soft bristled brush for surface dirt about all needed, really. Also, they darken numerous shades over time....pretty normal for veg tanned calf.
