I wear a size 10E on Allen Edmonds 5 last (Strand). On the Brannock, I measure 10 and sit right on the fence between D and E. Any advice on which size to order? My gut says 10E, but I don't see that as an option.

lycias@lycias that is a tricky one...I go right from D to EE. I would say 10EE and probably assume a thick sock or thin insole would be routine.

riderbootThanks for the reply! What would be the width difference between D and EE? I just checked on a Brannock device again and it says I'm just shy of E (on the D side). Alternatively, if I do get the EE, are there any recommendations on insoles?

lycias@lycias still would suggest the EE. We actually make our EE in a unique way - we add width to the ball both inside and outside the last, but don't change the instep or heel - much better for the vast majority than the old way of changing all the dimensions. Eventually I'll have an E last, but I get very few requests for 'in between' the two. Pedag veg leather insoles over cushion (poron I think) are very nice, and popular. Easy to find on-line.
