What occasions would one wear these boots? They look very dressy, but then you have a commando sole which lends a rougher look to them.

UksorThey're fashion boots, and so it's really up to you. If they go with your look, you could wear them every day (but, you should have two pairs if you really wanted to wear them every day, to maximize their overall life).
I have a pair of Reverso browns from the last drop (but mine are much closer to a "light tan" than "brown"). They, along with two other pairs of boots, are part of my "everyday" boots.
