A bit big
It’s a bit big for my taste, but I love how it looks. And I have no complaints on the build quality or materials.

Fit and finish are easily on par with ZT, Benchmade, Spyderco etc. Early lockup, perfect centering and dead neutral balance round out the outstanding value of this knife.

This is the second Rike Knife I've picked up (the first being a 1507s).
The fit and finish on this knife are absolutely amazing. Centering is spot on, grind is perfect, gimping is flawless. The blade finish is that lovely smooth style that Rike is known for.
I took it apart the moment I got it. No loctite on any screws which made disassembly a breeze. They need to use a better lubricant in their knives. It seems they use some kind of thick grease that leads to a marginal action. After cleaning it and swapping to 5 weight Nano-oil, the action was superb. The Detent is a little firm for my liking, but not so firm that I'd consider mucking with the lockbar bend.
They get dinged for not having a D-shaped pivot, which leads to a free spinning pivot. On the plus side, the show-side pivot-face has rather detailed engraving, which allows for pressure to keep it from free spinning. Other slight dings, the pocket clip could use a bit more spring / ramp, and it isn't deep carry like the 1507s.
All in all, this is a fantastic blade at a fantastic price. I have no regrets going all in on Rike in two consecutive drops.

Excellent ergos, action and build quality. Bit large for my tastes but it was designed that way.

As I write these words I am flipping the dang thing and admiring how smooth the action can be. I’m not saying it was like that out of the box. But with little tinkering this is easily one of the smoothest folders I own (not a fan of “drop shut”-“finger guillotine”). Amother aspect that makes this knife a keeper is the anodization Rike puts on it. Straight 10. I own the “bluerple” version. Mesmerizing to watch changing colors as the light reflection angle changes. The last thing I have to mention is the value. For what one gets in this package others charge at least +50% or more. So overall I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!
