For anyone curious about the question I asked below. The picture is wrong and all models are the 1504B version.

Can I please get an answer to this question because it makes a difference if I want to buy this knife or not? So if I get the gold/blue model is it the 1504A like the picture or will it be the 1504B like the title says and the rest of the pictures show? Since I never got an answer when I asked months ago, is there a better place to ask this question where I can unequivocally get an answer?

RoosterCogburnThanks for pointing that out and apologies for missing your earlier comment. All models offered in this run are 1504B. We will get the photo for the Gold/Blue corrected ASAP.

So if I get the gold/blue model is it the 1504A like is pictured or will it be the 1504B like the rest. I’m kinda partial to the hole and that shape looks better IMO.

Anybody notice that photo #3 has a totally different blade? Hmmmn. Cool looking knife but it seems like the last 3-4 Rike drops have all had nightmarish fit n finish issues, some people going so far as to suggest they were blems, which is entirely possible given the volume and consistency of complaints ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think the Black Stonewash version should be significantly cheaper because it's made of S35vn instead of M390.

Could we please have more knives What has happened to drop camping and survival gear after camping and survival gear none is quite enough 99.99% of people is always within an hour of human contact making it utterly useless I really like that I've never had any problems shipping internationally Just give me more original knife designs from great designers and less of the other stuff

MightyRudeWith ya in spirit ,saw that comment and was irked a bit , then saw it copy and pasted in a couple other discussion fields. I mean you can write directly to the company if this is a major issue for you. Complaining about too many knives in actual knife discussion areas ,I'm guessing they're trying to pick a fight. Glad to see you post a comment rather than replying.

Could we please have less knives, and more actually useful real ultralite hiking & camping gear? What has happened to Drop? Knife after knife after knife after knife after knife - one is quite enough thanks, and they don't even ship internationally. Can we please return to gear that is actually relevant to ultralite? Zpacks, HMG, MLD, Evernew, ... Packs, stoves, quilts, headlamps, parkas, ...

rmeurantSince Massdrop changed to Drop, and moved away from their group buy system. They have scaled back on some of their communities because they can't compete with other retailers. They are trying to focus on their collaborations more, since that is one of their big selling points.

CdoyleMany manufacturers charge extra for blackwashed blades, that's probably where the savings went

This is a huge knife, can't Rike make any more useable sized knives, say 7" OAL?

The Hummingbird has varied in price between $75 and $90, IIRC. The drop before the one I bought it on was at $95, but the one before that was $20 less.

I have both , the Thor 3 and HX Outdoors. The quality is the same for both. The Rike was $299 vs. $140 for the HX. The HX is not available that I can find anymore.
