It is probably a really nice functioning knife. The double race bearings that ‘reswright’ was kind enough to display as he (or she) took the knife apart is especially appealing. But, quite honestly, the overall style and aesthetics are just not me. If I had to imagine for just a moment or two, I would put all the metal back on the knife that was used to skeletonize the blade and handle, smooth out and bevel all the edges, put some texture on the scales for grip, and, hence, bring it back down to earth. It would likely end up being at least $100 cheaper, but the knife would function the same. Did I say I like the double race bearings (thanks reswright).

Here's mine, which I'm really happy with.

This is what it looks like apart:

Those are multirow caged ceramic bearings. And a crystal ball clip.

And those are matching races and what is easily the smoothest betaplus lock I own. At this point I own a couple dozen.

What a strange design. The blade is nearly all straight lines while the handle is all curves. It makes it look like two different knives combined into one instead of a cohesive design. Some might like the contrast, but to me it just looks disjointed. I'm not a fan of the look of the m2 but at least that blade looks like it belongs with the handle.

Notsurewhyibotherfunny thing is the ergos on it aren't quite as good as the M1 and M3, which have pronounced thumb ramps that work very well with improvised and pinch grips.
