Product Description
Making its official debut on Massdrop, the Rike Knife M2 looks like something out of another dimension. At nearly 9 inches long, it’s got enough size for most cutting tasks you’ll come across Read More

Making its official debut... Why is Drop so lazy? Stop recycling your descriptions. Nearly two year ago since the knife was first offered here. You are even using the name Massdrop in the write up. I have the M3 and it is very nice with the exception of the G10 scale looks bad. Cheap plastic look that does not pair well with the nice anodizing on the titanium. I guess this is a step up in materials with the full titanium handle and better steel.

This knife is too scary looking. We can’t have that. We need more family-friendly looking knives on MD; the kind you can take to church...

Too bad. Was going to buy but 4inch is too big for Seattle law which limits at 3.5. Any recommendations?

That knife looks like it is all angles, definitely a unique design. The handles faint grooves are interesting as well

JaegerDYeah it’s certainly a unique design probably not attractive to everyone, but I love it. The build quality is pretty impressive and everything aligns/fits perfectly. Hadn’t heard of HEA prior to finding it.

Kershaw Reverb has a similar design but of course much cheaper.

Great idea, but I'm afraid in my particular case your timing stinks. I'm very happy with my Rike M3 -- the weathering and subsequent reanodizing doesn't look quite so spectacular as it does in the sales pics but the flip is as smooth as it gets and the ergonomics are out of this world. If you'd ran this deal even 20 hours or so earlier i'd have hit it, because I'm in the market for one, and because it's $50 better than the best other price I've seen on the M2 recently... but I just ordered an M1 from one of the usual suspects. It'll be interesting to see whether the anodizing is better on that one.

The black stone wash is much much darker than the images led me to believe. It is straight up gloss black, not a charcoal grey. I still really like the knife overall and I am not disappointed with the purchase because of that. I am assuming with wear/time it will fade a bit closer to that one in the images. The build quality seems solid and the steel feels great, but I have only had it for a day so far. I will update this review if anything serious happens to it.

nextcityplannerThey are running for 285 now, so about 100 bucks more. Crazy how much two years can jack up the price

RandomsmackIf you ordered the right things at Ruth's Chris Steak House, you would only have to miss one meal.
