Rike Knife has quickly earned a reputation for its precise machine work, and the Thor 1-CF is a great example. Made with an integral handle frame—in which a pocket is created for the blade by removing material from a solid bar of TC4 titanium—the Thor is as strong as its name would suggest. Rike Knife has even integrated the stop pin in the frame, eliminating all hardware that connects the two sides of the knife aside from a single bolt. The result is a knife that’s as strong as it looks. To ensure that the lock doesn’t wear out over time, the knife is fitted with a hardened steel lockbar, too.
Note: Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
At nearly 9 inches long, the Thor will fill any hand comfortably. The blade measures almost 4 inches, giving you plenty of edge for slicing, but thanks to its tanto shape, piercing is where the folder really excels. The blade is made from Bohler M390 stainless steel: a fine-grained, easy-to-sharpen alloy that’s extremely resistant to wear and corrosion. Moving on to the handle, it’s made from TC4 titanium with carbon fiber inserts. The inserts give the knife a streamlined, almost futuristic look. Also crafted from titanium is the backspacer and pocket clip, which offers tip-up carry on the right side.
