A sight to behold, the Thor 3 features an intricate industrial-looking design and premium materials, indicative of Rike Knife’s reputation for precision machine work. Made with an integral frame—in which a pocket is created for the blade by removing material from a solid bar of TC4 titanium—this flipper is wicked strong. The blade is crafted from a fine-grained alloy that’s extremely resistant to wear and corrosion known as Bohler M390 stainless steel. Hardened to 60 on the Rockwell scale, it will hold an edge through heavy-duty tasks. A titanium frame lock holds it in place, while a hardened steel lockbar ensures the lock’s longevity. To open the blade, all that’s needed is a press on the jimped flipper tab—it’s weight will do the rest of the work for you. Fitted with a slim titanium clip, the Thor 3 can be carried on the right or left side.
