This little knife has evolved into my every day carry. Its integral frame construction has made it a hardy performer for all my tasks at hand, with smooth and dependable flipper action.
I carry it in a small heavy leather case, complete with lanyard and bead.

I like the knife. I'm glad I own it. This is not a knife I would pick to do any work though. It is just too pretty. A bit smaller than one would think based on the images. I have the blue/gold.

I like the knife overall. I was aware of the dimensions/measurements. But it was too small. It's almost as if it was designed to be "too small" for lack of a better explanation. I only collect knives with blades less than 3 inches. I don't get the same feel with knives that have a 2 inch blade. My only drawback to this knife.

One of the absolute best "smaller blade" knives I own!
I may just purchase another one in the "gun metal" type color. I have the colorful one, but that black/gun metal is beautiful!

There are numerous scratches on both sides of the blade. The back side pivot has many scratches and marks on it. This knife appears to have been used! The tip of the anodized titanium triangular piece (shown in picture) around the backside pivot is a completely different color from the rest of this piece...it's almost black, it’s supposed to be blue. The torx screws also show damage and wear. Either this knife was previously owned, returned and resold to me or Rike Knives have the worst quality control of any knife I’ve ever owned. I’ve had issues with other Rike knives in the past. This isn’t acceptable for a $40 knife let alone a $200 knife.

DougFLA123Did Massdrop stand behind this knife? This is totally unacceptable at this price point. Will certainly effect my future high end purchase decisions here.

mayflyMassdrop did take care of me. They didn’t have any more of these in stock for an exchange, so they offered to take it back and give me a full refund, or I could keep the knife and they would give me a partial refund of $100. I ended up taking the $100 partial refund and keeping the knife. So, it cost me $102. I liked that it had a one piece integral frame, was made from titanium, was on bearings and used M390 steel. I think I would have been happier/better off just getting the dark gray or the platinum gray because Rikes anodizing was terrible.

I read the other reviews regarding some quality control issues, with some even questioning if the last drop was a batch of previously returned knives. I wanted this knife for a while now and figured these issues would have been corrected before doing another drop. Unfortunately, my knife arrived with scratches on the show side of the handle as well as a stripped out screw on the pocket clip. The other screws also showed signs of usage. I'm not sure if its a returned model or more than likely just a case of extreme carelessness during assembly. The lockup, action, and blade are fine, but its frustrating paying this price for a knife and having it arrive with imperfections. This is worsened by the fact this was a known issue from the previous drop and nothing appears to have been corrected.

Nice knife but I like something just a little larger. My fault for not paying more attention to size. Its good looking and pretty sharp out of the box but it is not a work horse...its a keeper but it will. Not be ruining it by actually cutting something like it was made for, LOL

Looked nice, and being M390 for the blade steel is nice, but that knife wasn’t made to be held by an adult. Or anyone with decent sized hands.

I really like the gold/blue colors and finish. The detent stuck badly whenever I tried to close it. I think it is too long. I backed the screw off but then it kept coming undone until I gave it a dab of blue loctite. After that it's been great. Sharpening my pencils and other household chores are its main use.

Knife showed up with a VERY strong odor of mildew, told myself maybe its the fabrication oil they used? Anyway sat down and started playing with the flipper.... flip open.... one hand close.... repeat to get the muscle memory going. So, after 20 - 25 cycles the flipper has become very hard to start moving and when it starts it most likely wont result in a fully opened blade. I've reached out to customer service, will report back.

JonasOI was offered a $25 credit so I kept the knife. After some time it's "free'd" itself and works smoothly as it should. I'll confess that this is a small knife however it's turned into my ED in-pocket carry and I'm loving it!
