Just buy the Lynx or the Ferum Forge Falcon, or even Gent if you like knife of this size. This is just not worth the price, and the brands aren't really more reputable..

Never heard of the Lynx, but the Falcon and Gent are both over 2.5 inches of blade length which is a legal cutoff in some jurisdictions and many government facilities. Higher end material folders that are sub 2.5" are few and far between.

This is exactly in my wheelhouse of knife style - Small, attractive, and fondalable. But $200? $200!!! A painful, but firm pass. :-(

I would expect a knife named after the god of thunder to be...bigger.

Alright.. now I'm gonna sound like a hypocrite.. this blade fits in my EDC criteria.. but goddamn is this little knife pricey! @Omniseed sell me this sub 3" Rike knife.. I mean I've dropped some coin on a Spyderco Mini Native and a GMF1 with Elmax steel.. but I don't really see the value in this drop. Over $150 for a knife this small doesn't seem reasonable to me.

Hey how's the Neutron by the way? @raest yeah HX is a brand but I don't think they make their own gear, which is why you get Rike selling a lower cost variant of the Thor3 through them while most of the other HX knives look like they were made by a competitor to Sanrenmu or Ganzo. It's actually one of my favorite knives going by the action, ergos, the feel in general. It's a big, lean, muscular knife that looks far busier than it feels. The pocket clip has an iron grip and needed to be broken in, the grind is a bit thick, but in the context of Richard Wu's design style it kind of makes sense.

Can confirm, HX Outdoors uses Rike as an OEM. Edit: At least for some of their products.

I have one gave it to my wife to keep in purse, she uses it in situations were her pink pm 2 might scare people around her, materials and workmanship are outstanding,it is an integral, but it is not worth the price 120.00 would be more realistic.

I totally understand your viewpoint and respect it,I’m a small stature man5’7 with little b*tch hands so I definitely lean too small.i have kettlebell 1.9,lauch4 1.9.humminbird&the rike. All my fav edc knifes lean towards small, massdrop falcon, gent, terzouola compact tactical folder, booze blade smoke, protech brend.i think all of these are under 3.3”.good thing is there is a knife for everyone’s personal taste.Peace

Not sure if they’re still available ( I got mine from their Kickstarter project) but the Bastion Braza Mini Bro D2 folder is a fun little flipper and only costs about $40US. https://www.bastiongear.com/products/braza-bro-edc-mini-folding-knife

This knife would have to hit a serious growth spurt to be worth the cost.

When they stop taking other knifemaker’s designs and presenting them as their own I might consider paying $120 for this crap.

any proof to back up your bs, or is this one of those typical internet rumours that get repeated ad nauseam for no reason other than stupidity?

it's an integral. the only cheaper integrals are by Twosuns and Lionsteel, and they're not that much cheaper (and look much plainer, which may or may not look worse to you)

So, we're going to drop this again for like the third time while STILL not addressing anyone's questions and concerns from previous drops? How very....typical 😒
