More than just a fidget spinner, this handy little accessory can be used for small cutting tasks, too. At first glance, it looks like any rectangular spinner, but look a little closer and you’ll see it’s much more Read More

I must have gotten the best one they made. So good for me!!! I have no problems with it spinning. After I start it spinning it keeps going for around a minute. No grit to speak of and the blade opens flawlessly. For what it is in my honest opinion the one I got does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it really well. Sorry for everyone that got a bad one but mine is great

4 stars because this is false advertising using a brand that the knife isn't under and not showing the numbers on the handle. Otherwise it's great, and unless you're really dumb, won't open on you while spinning. Edit: Honestly this is 5 stars for me now. It is one of my favorite knives.

Knife is perfect except for the bearings which could use an improvement. This is not a pocket carry knife, this is not a hard use knife. This is an office fidget with a shade of practicality. Out of the box I found the machining to be very well done with just the right depth of checkering on the handle, with smooth chamfers on the sides. It holds very comfortable in the hand and doesn't feel out of place. The knife blade of S35VN is a neat little touch of an overbuilt steel selection but is appreciated. The blade profile is perfectly suited for office tasks of opening letters or detail cutting. The wharncliff profile is also unoffensive for sensitive office environments and small enough it will pass the most stringent knife hating companies. Detent is carefully considered and is strong enough I have no fear of the knife opening in a spin, yet the flipper on the spine gives just enough leverage to pop it out. Opening the blade with the right flick took some practice but it is smooth and repeatable now. The RIL is also substantial and I am very happy with the high end feature on the knife. The construction punches way about it's weight and it's a solid little guy. As a bonus the knife is held together with torx bits and is a very simplified construction Lastly are the spinners on the side. They are perfectly balanced to spin, and their machining is such that there are concentric ridges that give just enough grip to hold on to. My only complaint about the knife is that they cheaped out on the bearings and it takes a few spins to get them warmed up and the knife spinning smooth. With a minute of rotating though they warm up and the spin is smooth and pleasant to the touch. I bought this guy on an impulse and it's my favorite office fidget to mess with while I am reading. I have been so thoroughly impressed that I highly recommend the knife, and the only real improvement I see is in the selection of the ball bearings. Chic office product with better than average fabrication and consideration with top notch material selection.

Bought it as a gift for my best friend... he loves it. To quote a text from him "Just saying, never ever use a pocket knife fidget spinner with the knife open. Trust me."

This was a poor purchase on my behalf. I had much higher expectations for the money; I really could have bought another knife that I would have enjoyed much better. In the future, I am much less likely to purchase a knife from Massdrop.

jvardyJust curious, what does your unhappiness with the knife have to do with massdrop? Massdrop didn't make the knife.

josephbnolanI felt at the time that the product was misrepresented. I have made other purchases on Massdrop since then, and all the other products have been fine and I am quite happy with those purchases. If you are interested in purchasing this knife, purchase it. If not, hopefully my review helped. I am sure that Massdrop was not hurt by my criticism. Again, hopefully they took it as constructive and have improved their product presentation. Personally, I believe they have improved their product presentation.

OK...Looked like fun so I hadda have it! It's Stupid and so am I for buying it! I attempted to spin it a couple of times, all gritty and off balance. Would be worth like $25 at the most IMHO. So it sits in its box, in a drawer. Really too heavy and off balance for EDC and using the blade is just not practical due to the spinning mechanism. Cool for a minute or two and now out of rotation...

The good is blade is nice and sharp and it looks cool. The bad there was a ton of grit in the knife and it had to be taken apart and cleaned to remove it. The knife is also not balanced well and the lock does not always engage.

Quality was ok. One bearing fell out and the knife showed up with discoloration on the handle finish which wouldn’t come off.

I was hoping for more like spinner and less like a knife. Slightly off balance. Overall I am happy.
