For the materials and typical Rike build quality, this is good value. However, it's basically a smaller version of the Rike 1902 with a less versatile blade shape, and that is still widely available for less than $200.

Slingthis one is uh... can be 'field stripped'.
i'm pretty sour i couldnt get a koenig zenaida, so this will have to do. i got one, it is definitely gimmick-y, but if you like really detailed machining and have 200$+, its pretty worth it. otherwise, theres plenty of other knives to consider.

nextcityplannertax depends on your state, i believe (i forget whether it is the company location or your shipping location, but i think it is the latter). total i paid was 235, so... not much savings plus a few day delay in shipping.

Blade thickness: 0.1 in is 2.5 mm and not 3. That's a lot thinner (1 inch = 2.54 cm).

The beauty of these rike knives on massdrop actually got me interested in pocket knives. Unfortunately, they have earned a reputation for suboptimal quality control. I purchased a thor 6 and within two days the detent ball, which keeps the blade from falling open freely, simply fell out. I'm super impressed by the intricate work they do with titanium, but it's a waste if the QC isn't there.

I think it's bead blast, at least that's what the standard finish is on these.
He did an actual high polish version that was selling for close to $400.
I've been able to keep the mirror polish on my 154CM Rike M3 in decent nick by occasionally stropping the blade flats with some green rouge, for what that's worth.
