It's very small, like super tiny! This knife isn't larger then your pinky ;) That's why one of my messages to the company was "please make it larger !"
This is how large is the blade on that hummingbird mini flipper knife ;) such a "cookie cutter"...!

VAS007I also wish the blade was a little longer, but I think 2x would be too much for the "hummingbird" motif. I'd say a longer blade up to about 1.5x the current length could be ok. That would just look like a slightly larger hummingbird species, but a little bigger than that, somewhere around 2x current size, it would start to look like a freakish, genetically engineered monster hummingbird, and I wouldn't even want that.
And about the price if this was scaled up, if the length doubles the width and thickness would also double, so the increase in size (volume) would be 2*2*2 = 8. The cost of production is more than materials and I doubt the purchase price would have to increase 8x if they doubled the length, but it could be a lot more than 2x (or less for all I know, but somehow that doesn't seem likely). For a larger, more useful knife with the same look, I think I could tolerate a price up to $200, but that's only 1/3 more than the crossed-out retail price of this, so I don't expect to see any larger version available at all.

Dr_Rodney_McKayCheck out the Thor 4s, it's basically exactly what you're looking for only an integral and slightly different in design. It's I think 2.25" or 2.5" Oh and the larger version is called the Bumblebee or Bee I believe, and then there's the Thor 6 which is a very similar design and an integral. In can't remember if the Bee is also an integral, but I think it is. Those knives each cost about $650 for most versions, but Rike is a weird shop and they have a lot of upgraded prestige piece versions of their flagship models.

OmniseedThat one looks good too, but I'm not really looking for another knife. I didn't even need that one, but it's beautiful! I was just wishing that beautiful green, blue, or purple knife was slightly larger. I still do. But I'm not looking for another. Thanks anyway!
