Probably roccat will read this:
Please, release a wireless version of these mouse! I love my Roccat Kone Pure Military edition and I'll definitely get one wireless for my laptop, but the Leadr is just too big and the only good quality "small" wireless available is a Razer orochi and I hate razer...
mcslendernope, it's a maximum 1000 Hz polling rate in wired mode... most of the times it's around 500Hz or less when it's in wireless... Marketing at it's best.
The only wireless mouse brand that have overcome that "problem" is logitech and even their G603 when it's in bluetooth can't handle a 1000Hz polling rate because that's a bluetooth limitation...
Mouse manufacturing is not cut throat but rather a high profit per mouse sold which is why you get a ton of random brands making mice also. Problem is that there are too many competitors but if you are Logitech or Razer this isn't really a issue. But Finalmouse got away with selling their cheap $13 mouse with an upgraded 3310sensor and clicks (+$5) for $70.
jedi-hamsterI've actually been really impressed with my KPM's fit & finish, but it too is starting to exhibit the double-click problem. Maybe Roccat could be choosing better switches, but ultimately it's just the switch, which can easily be replaced when I get frustrated enough. I'm not sure how much overlap there is between the keyboard and mouse people here on MD, but as for the former, one of the reasons we love mechs is exactly because when a switch fails, it's pretty easily replaced without having to ditch the entire keyboard; I figure the same should hold for good mice?
Right, it does not exists anywhere else in the wild. These will be the only units in the hands of consumers. That in my mind = beta. Not a fully released item. It may well be what you've produced to fully launch but as of now it hasn't seen the myriad possibilities that are lurking out in the wild where hardware vs software can expose issues you've not encountered before now. It's like Ryzen. Many people feel that AMD used the early adoptees as an extended beta test as do I.
Much respect to MassDrop for once again bringing a NEW mouse model onto the market here, way before the 'retail retards' here in Convict Town.
As always, I manage to get the latest gear off you guys at decent prices. Thank you MD, love you heaps : )
I own a G502 proteus core and a Kone Pure Military and both feel great! Different, but great over all.
I think this is more about a personal preference.
Both uses omron switches at the end.
From a user of the Roccat Kone Pure Military edition, this is probably one of the best mouse for fingertip/claw grip.
I don't think is a big upgrade over the military edition, but over the old Pure, it's like a quantum jump.
If you're not a palm grip user, go for it.
As a person with the original Kone pure, it is a very durable product. Still use it daily to this day. Sadly, I'm going to pass on this. I'm probably going to get the leadr. Would recommend this mouse! Simplistic but great product
2D wheel ? Where's gone my 3D wheel of my Line XTD :'(
No really, that's a deal breaker for me, I use it for plenty of game like Elite Dangerous w/ the power distribution.
PixhelIf you mean the Kone XTD you should check out the Kone EMP! It's our new version upgraded with the same Owl-Eye sensor (3361) and still has the 4D scroll wheel of course. The other big difference is we optimized the weight/removed the weight system and improved the surface texture.
