If anybody can tell me how they got Roccat's software to do anything, I would be glad to hear it. I have downloaded the latest drivers and software and have excluded the files and folders in Windows defender. I even tried turning windows defender off. Nothing. All I am doing is chinging lighting and buttons in the configuration window. Nothng changes with the mouse.

thojgrooDownload V1.16 / FW1.30 from support section. It's under windows 8.1 64-bit. FW 1.33 and 1.31 say AlienFX in the title so I don't know if those are only for alienware machines but 1.31 did not work on my Asus Z170I board. 1.33 says to only use it if you have an X99 board.
As a side note for anybody who reads this in the future this mouse works great in linux. You actually get a full featured GUI just like the windows version.
