Rocketbook smart notebooks feel just like regular pen and paper, but are endlessly reusable and fully integrated into the technology era. Using the Frixion line of pens, you can take notes, upload them directly to the cloud, to Evernote, to your email, and more with the Rocketbook app Read More
This is a new take on an old idea. Logitech made HUGE digital pens that resembled sex toys to be used with special gridded notebooks. I was amused with them then and I am again. We are analog beings. Therefore, there's nothing as natural as writing. Trying to merge the analog and digital worlds is the ultimate challenge, making digital seem natural, comfortable while still functional and productive.
Personally, I'd like to use a nice, piston filled, plastic, screw capped, fountain pen to do this with bottles of this type of ink for refill and a suitable reusable writing surface. I journal and there are MANY fountain pen lovers who do too. This would be a new inroad into a stable cultish market!
I wonder if Massdrop could pull it off!
I don’t recommend this product. What you get is a book of erasable pages and an app that lets you snap a picture and send it to yourself. The OCR ignores any formatting such as bullet points or indentation or outlining. I spent $40 or however much it was on the first drop on a pair of books, one of which sits unopened, and the other I use as reusable scratch paper. Try it if you want, but I have ragrets.
Anyone know if it's possible to mix and match (Different notebook sizes and different colors) or do you only choose 1 notebook size, 1 color and just get two of those because it'd be pretty dumb if you can't mix and match.
Wow, last drop for these hasn't even shipped yet and now offering them for less. Thanks for making us feel truly ripped off. It's bad enough Amazon is only a couple of dollars more on most items with faster shipping but now a cheaper drop before the last has shipped.
JharbinThat's how massdrop works, you get a choice:
a) grab the first drop at a decent price and help push the drop through, with the guarantee you'll get the item if the drop size is met
b) roll the dice on there being a second drop, that may or may not be cheaper
Shipping will suck either way. If you want a sure thing, watch slickdeals or retailmenot instead.
