SickMedsHow does this system compare to the Logitech z906 system that I currently have? I know my z906 does not have bluetooth but that has been easily remedied through my PC.

SickMedsgenerally don't trust logitech, their products across the board are poor quality, high failure rate, but it will look and feel nice. speaker system and headphones i've had from them... speakers failed due to a very poor cable construction, logitech wouldn't fix it. headset disconnects all the time on 3 out of 5 of the same model. keyboard has multiple errors that render it useless for what it was designed for (i know of 10$ keyboards that worked better than it).
thinking logitech is a sure way to set yourself up to fail.

XenocI've had Logitech products of all types, keyboards, computer speakers, mice, etc. Never had a single one have problems prior to 3 years into their lifespan. My current speakers are the old Logitech 5.1 system, forget the name, but it's still working great, my mouse is the g900 spectrum, no issues at all zone I've had many Logitech keyboards, only one that failed was my og g15 that I spilled water into after years and years of service.

XenocI have a Logitech g933 Artemis spectrum headset, and I have had to return them because of quality issues 3 times. Its 7.1 surround sounds very good though.

TheHashSlingerI'd worry about any speaker system through them if they use the same cable into the subwoofer or speakers that I had. Reason being, if you want the product to last, don't bet on the cables, they look durable, but they build them extremely poorly. Be very aware if you move to logitech.

XenocThat is very true whenever I get a new audio system or headphones I usually get new cables right away unless they're something like vmodas which come with very nice cables. But I've mostly had just plain old quality issues with that headset inlcluding a broken headband the adhesive was coming off and also the second time I got them back with a short in the electrical system somewhere so I returned those and got a pair that sounds amazing but has a cheap feel to it I think next time they design a headset they should use less plastic and other cheap materials. I'm really a big fan of vmoda myself they're made of metal and high quality materials with Kevlar reinforced cables etc and they have very nice sound with emphasis on the bass but it is still crisp and doesn't interefere with the highs or mids but as far as headsets go I plan on getting some senheiser game ones or something of that nature next time I purchase a headset.

XenocI agree. I've used a loogitech mouse for about 2 years and just bought a knock off $20 mouse off of Amazon (roughly half the cost) and I'll never ever waste time trying to get the stupid mouse to pair to the Logitech receiver again.

XenocI have never had a problem with anything Logitech. In fact I purchased my z906 system used about 3 years ago and it is still going strong. The wiring that came with my z906 was the average normal quality stuff that is usually included in mid range audio set ups (also in a few high end systems for that matter). Regardless I use optical to connect to my PC along with the speaker wires that came with the unit. If you are talking the wire harness that goes from the control unit to the subwoofer then that is still the same. It seems to be pretty good quality and has held up well under some inadvertent misuse....lol.

MadmaxneoBased on what I've seen and read, it appears you've merely dodged the bullet for a mfr that isn't overly interested in quality nor support.

XenocConsequently I have a few other Logitech things that work quite well. I have the G502 gaming mouse (and it is an awesome mouse). a G13 gamepad (works great but I never really use it), a Logitech bluetooth keyboard (it worked well for when I did use it with my tablet), and the F710 wireless controller (used to game with it all the time, but don't game that much anymore). But I also have the Harmony 650 remote and it kind of sucks as a universal remote.
