Disappointed in Rockwell Customer Service

The handle stripped after a couple years. Customer service (Rockwell) has had me jumping through hoops including sending a video of the damage and including the original receipt of purchase. They’ve now gotten back to me to tell me that they will send me a new handle but I must pay shipping and handling because it is outside of the 60 day period. I’ve informed them that this is unacceptable and it is a manufacturer quality issue and not an operator error. I do feel that they’re being cheap about it because it was purchased here at a discount even though they’re not coming out and saying it. I liked it while it worked but I wouldn’t buy from them again.

First safety razor - seems nice

This is the first safety razor I've ever used, so I experimented with the different settings a fair bit. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and I found the R3 guard (middle of the pack) still gives me a closer shave than I'm used to with very little irritation, and the R1 guard (the least aggressive blade angle) gives a decently close shave with no irritation or ingrown hairs whatsoever. I have no need of the more aggressive angles, but there should be a setting here for everyone.

Dissapointed in the quality

I originally bought this as a replacement for my merkur 34c. 2 years later after daily use the bolt stripped which made it a nice display piece. The aforementioned merkur had been in service for the same amount of time and has not had any issues. I'm back to the merkur and think this time I'll stick with it.

Great product, does what it says well, but

I loved using this razor on my travels, I ended up only using one of the heads, as I already knew my preferences from owning a Gillette Slimboy and just needed to match those. worked well, so razor rash and the components fit together nicely, though after a year of owning, found my unit was defective as the thread sheered off and rendered the whole thing useless. although, I am still using the blades to this day, and they are not disappointing, drop was nearly worth it for the blades alone!

This is the last update before we shut down Rockwell Model T folks, the Chinese factory will be making the razor out of rubber and we will need to increase the final price to $200 bucks, So please all jump on board and wait another 2 years for delivery of the worlds first rubber adjustable safety razor brought to you from the team @ Rockwell Razors. This is not our first rodeo and won't be our last.
