RooR Tech Bubblers

If RooR were like Apple they wouldn't use standard GonG fittings, they'd use some special diamater and angle of grind than meant you could only buy official RooR ash catchers, bowls, adapters, etc, and if they could find some way to do it, only RooR-brand "tobacco" also. Actually, they'd make sure their pipes were incompatible with ash-catchers completely; if you wanted more volume situationally you'd have to buy a whole new piece. The point I was making last post is that so many other big name brands give you so much more performance, design and complexity for the same price. Trees and circs are old tech nowadays, and removable downstem designs ancient, and while other brands still use them too, they charge a lot less RRP, and have higher tech offerings further up the pricing scale. RooR only get away with their high prices for what they offer because of name recognition. The one way RooR are like Apple is that they spend much more on marketing than product development, and I don't like to reward this behaviour. $330 RRP for one of these things when you can get a Mobius Ion w/ Matrix for that is absurd.

I disagree, we would never sell Beats or Bose on Massdrop. I would compare them more to Apple. Pricey, name brand, but quality. But now you are getting it good price.

I enjoy the roor brand though. Beats and bose suck. It's pretty hard to mess up a piece of glass but Roor at least cuts no corners and charges a bunch for it. Unlike bose and beats which cut every corner and then slaps the premium price tag on it. The massdrop price for this almost seems reasonable. My friend has roor beaker that has been passed down through generations, if that's not cool I don't know what is. Though I would love a Mobius, I don't even need as much diffusion as that.
