This price is not great for the game if it's in print. I believe the price is high on Amazon only because it's out of print currently. I'll be holding out for a secondhand copy or a reprint. Massdrop can't have ridiculous deals every time, but this one looks like holding out on some copies of something and selling them at a higher cost than necessary.

CaillteLeder game's actual website has this for January Print Run at 60 + 10 shipping, so massdrop's also shipping in Jan is probably because it's in that same print run.

Caillte$60 is the MSRP for the game. I believe it is common for online retailers (MM, CSI) to offer discounts around the $45 to $50 range. I don't blame you tho for waiting for a second hand copy as most board gamers I know do take good care of their games. :)

ryanpschneiderI mean at $60 MSRP we're legitimately getting a $.01 discount. Not really a 'drop'. I generally reserve complaints about deals, but this seems shady. I'd much rather buy this at full MSRP at a FLGS.

CaillteTo follow up, I did buy this at my FLGS for $60 just the other day. I also picked up the expansion at $40. I'm disheartened how Massdrop is handling their expansion into Board Games. Selling people a board game at full MSRP and making them think it's a deal without allowing for any returns leaves a person either with a board game they dislike, or a board game they have to trade at a pretty substantial loss. At least at a local store, I can trade it back in for in store credit.
