Are those better managing high frequencies than the Etymotic Safety Earplugs ?

Because I'm a jackass who told you exactly how to find what you're looking for, which will take about 5 minutes from the search to finish the read. I'm sorry you find such a simple task difficult.

To anyone considering joining this drop: I suggest you find way to determine if these plugs will fit your ears in advance.
I ordered the regular size, and they do nothing for me - don't create a seal at all and practically fall out of my ears when inserted. My wife had the same experience.
Unfortunately these are complete waste of money for me, so if you are considering the drop, please be careful!

But even the U model sold in here looks different from that in the link. The filters for the U model sold here are white and foamy. The ones sold in the link are colored and hard plastic.

CesaarI think that since the original comment that myself and @snaggletoothed posted, they have gotten some sort of quality upgrade or a facelift...bc I just recall the above link - at the time - being the exact same product; now though, it looks like they have a less bulky profile to them, where the middle part doesn't protrude from the earbud anymore....just a guess, bc back then I stacked the windows of each product next to each other and there wasn't any difference (besides what filters you could get with them). So yeah, as jOn23 mentioned, I think this is actually a legit good deal on here now, shockingly lol..

Received mine, which were of the heavy metal persuasion.  Success!! I no longer can hear my wife snoring like a sailor.  Only down side is that for me, they are yet to be " barely there".  Quite uncomfortable, and a nuisance to remove.  I am hoping that this will change with wearing them regularly.

Apologies for not responding earlier.  I purchased the Roth C&P Earplugs, with 27 db Heavy Metal Protection.  I tested them using an alarm clock and my iPhone alarm, and did not hear either one.  I hope you find an answer.  I feel your pain.

I find that they normally fall out before morning, (although I've got two dogs that are causing me to move a lot) so I end up hearing my alarm in time. Hope that helps.
I have twins on the way. Will these help me not kill myself?

metallpofthemonthhah! I have one baby and I think earplugs are a must. These might reduce the blood curdling scream they get at about 6 - 9 months to bearable levels. Scotch, also useful.

How are these worth 20 bucks? Seriously? You can pay less for a pack of 22 ear plugs on amazon that off better sound reduction.

These are certified in Germany.

Any dB attenuation rating given by the manufacturer should be accurate, albeit not necessarily certified. With that said, any noise reduction factor is going to be given in ideal circumstances - in this case probably the plug smashed nicely into a round tube. Your ear canal however is not a round tube so it may not get the ideal dB noise reduction factor as given by the manufacturer. Furthermore, the end user may also not install it correctly, so that will again reduce the rating.
With that said, I don't believe that these are for saving your ears. They are meant to reduce volume. So when you go to a concert it will reduce the volume when you are in the front row but the sound could still be loud enough to damage your ears. If you are looking for hearing protection, I would suggest getting actual hearing protection or doubling up.
Edit: The 3M earplugs for a nickel are the ones that I first mentioned. Those are sponges and will have some sort of sound reduction associated with them. These do too, however, those are ear plugs, these are not ear plugs. Again, if you want to protect your hearing get earmuffs.

Hey MD folks -- as a motorcyclist, I'd have been interested in the motorcyclist or industrial forms ... and I know you guys run car pieces occasionally so it's not that far outside your normal clientele's interests...

I wish they'd give a combo of 2 different attenuation levels since it's a 2 pack...

Matt.TCan we get a pair of 2 different models? I'd love to have a pair of purple and green (Musician and Stadium) but don't really have a need for 2 of the same kind. Already have 2 other models that suit most of my heavy reduction needs (>20db)
