Worth doing your research on this brand. That 12 o'clock index is not a trick of the lighting, it really is that poorly aligned.

I've been looking at this brand's automatics (Miyota) with the same design esthetic that are $500 to $600. I think most are 40mm but what caught my eye was they're just 10mm thick. The backs display the movement, which doesn't add anything as those familiar with the dependable Miyota will understand. That's a reasonable price point given they also have a sapphire, double-dome crystal with AR coating. The blue dialed version is a more subtle version than this one,

I'm in on this one. I like the blue face with rose gold, and the sub second dial is well placed. Although it's more of a "cold weather" style and I live in Florida, I still dig the tweed strap. The size is what sold it for me, though. My tiny bird wrists shudder at the thought of anything bigger than 40mm. 36 is a welcome respite.
