What is it with all the "anti-gun" libtards on this site? Geeze, it's just a jacket with some pockets for Gods sake. Get over yourselves already. Ugh!

Steve1232It’s specifically sold as “the Concealed Carry Soft Shell Jacket ... a waterproof jacket with space for multiple firearms and extra mags”. If you want to argue that there’s nothing wrong with that, go for it, but it’s disingenuous to act like the posters criticising MD’s decision to carry this drop are drawing a tenuous link between the drop and guns.

tegeus-CromisThere is nothing wrong with that at all. Even if you're totally against civilian ownership of firearms, you are disregarding the fact that there are many of us out here who are in the armed forces, law enforcement, etc. who are required to carry a firearm every day.

jdzzI think that’s fair enough. My point is just that it’s a rather cheap and disingenuous shot to imply that critics of this drop are drawing an unjustified link between this item and guns (“just a jacket with some pockets”). It is specifically sold as a jacket for concealed carry and ammo storage. You want to defend that, go for it. But that’s not what the other guy was doing.

tegeus-CromisWell, my complaint against MassDrop is that they almost never list anything that truly has to do with the shooting sports, and this jacket doesn't really fall under the "truly" category. This jacket is great for gear and gadget freaks of all kinds, including concealed carriers, but hardly limited to only that group. I'd love to see some scopes, holographic sights, custom grips for some of the more popular handguns, combat slings, metal targets and stands, flashlights with rail mounting systems, whatever, there's nothing unethical or wrong at all with selling gun related accessories. They should find a quality vendor for gun leather too, one that can accept orders for various weapons. As nearly every days of new drops proves, people are willing to pay big money for good leather goods.
The idea that every gun owner is a murderer is just plain ol' brain-dead clap-trap. We spend a lot more money feeding our hobbies and hunting and competition interests in one year than the casual knife or flashlight user spends in an entire lifetime. MassDrop should not pander to demagogues who try to control the narrative politically when you're in business to operate commercially. I say ignore the demagogues, and pander to those looking for better ways to save a little on expensive, money-making items.
Steve1232Yes but is 'libtard' really necessary? People on the left and right need to stop hurling insults like this at the drop of a hat. Especially since in the US the 'left' and 'right' political parties are not that much different from each other. It's ludicrous to take it on as some kind of personal identity and start hurling insults at the 'other side'.

jdzzAgreed. Not to mention it's an American right to. People need to look outside of there narrow field of vision and realize that there are people dedicating there lives to protecting this great nation. (That does require the use of firearms) This country wasn't forged by sitting around holding hands.
