Rothco M-51 Fishtail Parka
Army-Inspired Cold-Weather Staple
Inspired by the US Army field jacket issued in 1951, the Rothco M-51 fishtail parka puts a modern spin on a military classic. It’s made from 100-percent cotton and has many of the same features as the original: a button-in quilted liner, for one, which provides added warmth against the elements and can be easily detached when the weather turns mild. To seal out the cold, there’s a snap-up storm flap over the brass zipper, a snap-up back flap, and drawstrings at the hood, waist, and bottom hem. A pair of front pockets give you a place to store daily essentials, and button-down epaulets complete the look.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of color: black, olive drab, or woodland camo (- $10). Available sizes range from XS to XXL; there is a $5 surcharge for XXL. These jackets run at least a full size large. Please see the sizing chart below and size down as needed.
