I cannot speak for the quality of this product but I bought a duffel on a previous drop and the handles fell off on the first use. The rivets were not seated. I then find out that there is only a 30 day warranty. if you have a need for a disposable product....Go for it.

the sizing chart is bonkers.
I have a size 46 chest. Generally wear large or extra large depending on cut. European stuff is the devil because, well I guess us Americans are larger.
But according to this size chart I wear an extra small. Since half my chest would be 23.
I would buy this right now, except I have no idea what size is what.

CalaverasgrandeYou want at least a large. This is the type of cost you should order in a size larger than what you regularly wear. I went with the large and should have gone with 2 or 3 X
FWIW I normally wear XL tall so I’m looking to swap mine out with someone that ordered the aforementioned sizes and found they were too large, so we could do an even swap. That said I’d be willing to sell my coat outright via PayPal

CalaverasgrandeAs an aside I could kick myself...years ago (2005) at Kieran’s scooter rally in Fla. some cat had a surplus M-51 fishtail complete w/the fur trimmed hood. He wanted $20 for it. It was a perfect fit for me, meaning it was oversized but at the time it was hotter than hinges of Hades so I passed on it. Again, it was an authentic war surplus parka in excellent condition, a real steal for a twenty spot, even then

Looks more like a costume than a parka. Liked the camo shorts better. Disappointed I bought it

IraSteubgildI bought the camasmie shorts too, crypt this time I ordered a size too big, hence I can’t wear them. I bought XL shoulda gone with a large. Willing to trade or sell outright (PayPal)

I got my M-51 Fishtail Parka today (Black Medium)
The white Shell Liner label states: Parka Extreme Cold Weather Chest 37"-41" chest size. (I'm a 43" chest)
It also specifically states, this Parka is designed to go over the M-65 Field Jacket, which I also own in a Medium size. It is more looser than the M-65 jacket, as expected.

I have been a member of Massdrop for a very long time.
You would think on an offering like this, they would have a Parrot model as well as a human as well as Parrot sizing.
Speaking of sizing, who has half a chest,
Anyway, since it is cheaply made, why should I bother.
Always cheap stuff for our military.

BogarteI wouldn't think feathered critters would need one. After all, they already have down jackets...
My own observation is that there are much better performing materials to make parkas from now than the cotton used in 1951. I say that in spite of the fact that my own construction began in 1951.
