I own a current version of their field jacket with button in liner and its a great coat. Warm, water resistant and lots of huge pockets with a collared hood. Yes, made in China but well put together and sewn. This looks like a solid drop.

mn10133With the liner is actually quite warm! I had to deattach mine because it was getting pretty warm pretty fast. I guess it depends how cold it gets on your side of things.

mn10133No, but a sweater or light fleece would make it extra warm and good to go in cold weather.
