Well, I think this jacket is awesome. The ONLY reason I don't give it a 5 star is for two tiny details, but I cannot really complain because it's awesome and the price was phenomenal. I had a real M65 a long time back and the fit and finish was much better, but that was real actual military used wear and this is a replica. Two quibbles- not double stitched, which I didn't expect for the price, and no inside pocket, which I didn't expect either but since it's a replica... This is the day of cel phones and weirdos like us who EDC. Interior pocket would rock. Again BUT! Sweet, sweet coat. Could be warmer, but it's not a parka. Could fit "better"? I guess? It's military, not Prada. I'm 6' 6', 300 pound, and my 3XL fits great. Nice hood, the liner comes out easy and makes it a real nice roomy over coat. As has been reported before, zippers and snaps could be waxed, fine. Wax is cheap. Mine is very moisture resistant, might Scotch Gard or wax later. One thing I've seen is "Rothco is so cheap that it won't even stop a breeze", and that's BS. Rothco is cheap because it's Chinese made and they cut costs where they can, like a business does, to make an affordable, yet quality product. Want the best? Go get real deal military surplus and price that out. Want dang decent military style stuff that gets the job done? This'll do ya. Great Drop, the price was a steal, can't wait for more.

GhostinragsI'm on board: this ain't a vintage Alpha, Winfield, or American Apparel but it'll do. I've gotten several of these over the years, and they've all been perfectly serviceable. I usually tweak them a little -- move the Velcro on the sleeve cuffs, replace the bottom drawstring with shock cord, maybe add buttonholes on the collar and a button center chest to attach an M-51 parka hood in the winter. But these are pretty good jackets -- warm, durable, and comfortable. I don't know why so many of the reviews make it sound like they're junk. They run on the big side, but once you know that, just buy the size that fits. It's a good coat for the money.
