MotoBroI felt like leaving the link there. If you were skeptical then you could have just Google it ;). But yeah I'm in the same boat. He's also a veteran so it just makes it that much cooler.
hansthecatSounds like the sizing is pretty close to some of the real ones I've seen that weren't custom fitted. People forget military flight jackets are worn by guys wearing flight suits and designed not to get in the way. Makes them pretty crap as a "normal" jacket.
I don't have this one (yet), but I own something like 5 Rothco jackets, and they are all great items. Not quite as die hard as something like a Carhart or L.L. Bean, but we'll made and pretty tough. As the military styling implies, they have all been impressively functional. I see no reason why this coat would break from that trend.
Can anyone attest to the quality of these jackets? For quite a while I was looking at alpha jackets but was pretty turned off when I found out they were being manufactured in China with cheap material.
ZachMIt's a shame to hear about Alpha' s corner cutting, I hadn't known about that. Thanks for the tip.
I don't know where Rothco sources their materials and labor, but I am genuinely pleased with everything I own of theirs.
