Shipment recieved. Was there supposed to be one or two pencils in the order? I thought it was for two. I got one, which is very nice. It's the one I wanted, but thought it was for two.

If I don't hear anything beyond a courtesy email in a day or two, I will contact my credit card reps and file a stop payment. After that depending on what transpires, I may drop this site and it's email offerings. It is the small things that matter, and up til now dealings were fast and easy.

Thank you Liz. I'm sure this is a rare occurance with Massdrop, and apologise for my terse response. I do wish in, the future, that status updates are a bit more informative, but understand that between supplier and shipping there are some gray areas that can't really be answered.

NRayThis likely will be the LAST time I order from this site. My first order I sent back because what I received in the mail didn't match the color of what I ordered. And now my second order is delayed over a week without the courtesy of an update or an apology.

Regarding the comments about it being cheaper on Amazon, the price is always fluctuating. It was $23.90 with $8.99 shipping to international destinations 2 days ago, now it's $33+$8.99. So if you're an international buyer like me, please check the international shipping option out. This is currently the better deal for me at $23.99+$5.50 (at the best price, it was $23.90 +$8 on Amazon).

I got a silver one last time. It's a tad on the heavy side, but it is a fine tool and I am happy with it. I'm guessing it'll be twenty years before it wears out. I recommend the black version because it looks more 'finished.'

Yea the rapid pro is $24.99 on Amazon with two day shipping.. I don't really get why anyone would think this is a great deal?

TimafivedAmazon prices vary, sometimes dramatically. Also, it depends on which lead size and finish you want. Even if you are lucky enough to catch a lower price on Amazon, and you have Prime, it will end up within a couple of bucks of Massdrop. For the two pencils I need, even with free shipping, the final cost is lower through Massdrop than on Amazon (by about $6). It is best practice, when buying anything, to check prices elsewhere first, but it also pays to understand that Amazon pricing isn't static. I *could* constantly monitor Amazon and maybe save a couple of bucks, eventually. It's just not worth my time.
