So I was in the last drop for this item and I'm pretty disappointed/irritated.
First of all I bought a Royal Glam frame off of a different site about a year ago only to find that it was NOT actually black walnut but rather just stained pine with severe color uniformity issues. I stripped it, restained it and it looks semi-decent now. However, in some sort of lapse of judgement I decided to order another one on here since it looked substantially different than the one I got before. First off I had to deal with an enormous delay when the bulk order was being held by customs (should have just asked for a refund then), but I held out hope that it would be worth it in the end.
I received my order today and was initially impressed by the quality of the frame, until i turned it around. There are some pretty severe white tide marks on it from whatever they treat the wood with, which is not in line whatsoever with a premium $80 item (higher without discount) such as this.
To me it's unacceptable that this sort of thing isn't caught by quality control, but even though Royal Glam doesn't seem to care about the cosmetic appeal of their products (this is 2 for 2 with my orders), then I figured their customers still might.

By the way,I checked every unit of products before shipping to Massdrop,I think the only reason cause this issue is wax oil solidify but it is really rare.(and this is easy to fix,just use a little cooking oil on it and clean it) if this way can not solve it please contact Massdrop,I will provide the replacement to Massdrop.
Anyway,thanks for supporting Royal Glam!
The oil trick didn't fix the issue. Is there any way I could just exchange for a replacement? I did contact customer service but I would prefer a replacement to a refund.
use the sandpaper first(#600,#1200) and then oil it,it must can be fixed
about the refund please contact MD,it is out of my right.
Sorry, I was under the impression that you worked for or with Massdrop.
In any case I'm not comfortable sanding this and possibly damaging it further/ruining my chance for a refund. Thanks for trying to help though.
I've filled out the required RMA form and emailed support twice now regarding this. Is there any way I can get some sort of status update?
